I am biologist from Formosa, Argentina. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Universidad Maimonides (UMAI) in Buenos Aires, 2015. I accomplished two internships as an assistant in the laboratory, both related to the fertility area, and specifically focused on the female side. My first experience was conducted in Centro de Estudios Biomédicos, Biotecnológicos, Ambientales, y Diagnóstico (CEBBAD), studying the function of the prolactin receptors on the ovary of a mammal model. And my second internship was carried in the Instituto de Biología y Medicina Experimental (IBYME), where I collaborated studying the effect of endometriosis in the ovary of human and rodent models.

Afterward, I obtained my Master's Degree in the Biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology from the Universidad de Valencia (UV), 2018. These studies had led me to internships in Assisted Reproduction Laboratories, where I understood the complexity and fragility of this field.

Overall, and with all this background and knowledge, I realize that my passion is the oocyte and all about female fertility. And for this reason, I am delighted to participate in the EUROVA training program as a Ph.D. student. This is an amazing opportunity to collaborate in a solid basic knowledge of the foundation of life and an incredible possibility to exchange concepts and experiences.

My project is about the role of progesterone during ovulatory follicle development in cattle. The overall objective is to generate new scientific knowledge on the mechanisms by which progesterone and progesterone receptors maintain and improve the viability of bovine oocytes in the early stages of folliculogenesis.
